Sandes app Alternative to Whatsapp made in India

Sandes is an app which is launched by NIC of Delhi as an alternative to Whatsapp. Sandes App is an initiative by the Indian government towards made in India app creation. It is available on both of the platforms android and IOS. This app can also be called Indian WhatsApp. It can be downloaded for both platforms from the following link:

Sandes app is only available for IOS users for now, but the APK for Android can be downloaded from the above link. It is a kind of Indian Whatsapp for Indians. There are some steps that have to be followed by Apple users to download the application:

Download the original app from the official app store:

When you are done downloading Sandes app (Alternative to Whatsapp), you will have to swipe next on these screens:

After this, a welcome message will show up like the following picture. Select mobile number or email ID as per your preference:

After putting your mobile number, It will ask for OTP (One Time Password) as shown below:

It will finally take you to a screen where you have to type your name and select your gender as shown below:

Now, you have to give the app some permissions to send you notifications and synchronise your contact list as Indian Whatsapp:

When the synchronising is complete, it will show you the following screen. At last, from the contacts option in the bottom menu you will be able to send messages to your friends who are already on this application.
